Yeah...I'm experimenting with the post-processing. The original shots unretouched seemed rather bland so I tried to enhance them. Give me some time and I'll get better. Which shots are over-saturated in color to you? A few of them are obvious to me as well....as with the green foilage.. I DO keep the ISO in auto with all my shots to date. When composing all my shots, I use 'auto' for everything except focus.

No doubt that the color is over-saturated by looking at the turn signal lenses of the cars in the foreground. Notice how those lenses have an overly orange tint when they should be a faded amber color. My goal here was to artificially bring out the colors of the vintage car's paint.....which looks good to me. Anyway, I'm quite amazed that such a car lot exists in Arcadia, La. Kudos to whoever owns it!!!!!!

This chopper was in front of us as we approached downtown of Ponchatoula, La. for an arts/crafts fair. While this bike is a work of visual art, the rider was being bounced like a hyper-pinball. I can't imagine spending tons of money on a bike that is pretty much only for appearance. You couldn't ride this thing for over an hour without being in physical agony. I'd describe this bike as the epitome of 'all show...no go'.

The two pics above had slight manipulation with mostly a little added contrast, saturation, and noise reduction. They look good to me...aside from the obvious. Hue and tint were also very slightly changed to bring out the color.

Great people shots.

I have a Ricoh GRD3 fixed lens for just such situations. Except for the smaller much more expensive Leicas, it's just about the best street camera on the market. There's lots of chatter as to how to go about "shooting-from-the-hip", but practice makes perfect. A big, noise DSLR can't compare.

Thanks Frsylan. The shot of "Nob" is one that I am most proud of. I caught him when he was not noticing that he was being shot. I had the photo processed professionally and presented it to his Sweetheart as a gift. She actually cried when she saw it and couldn't take her eyes off of it for several minutes. Nob suffered a severe back/hip/leg injury several years ago when he fell 18feet from the top of a tank he was welding on back in 1979. He can barely walk now. He refuses to accept SS disability. I have SO much respect for this man!!
