Here's Part Two of my trip to the Badlands.

I woke up to a great sunrise to match the great sunset of yesturday.

A full day of hiking, climbing and photography was ahead of me, so after I filled up on oatmeal (easy to make when bike camping), I headed out.

The landscape here is otherworldly. Some of the trails take you back into the canyons where there is nothing but rock and dirt, nothing growing. Makes you feel like you are on an other planet.

Again, most excellent pictures of the Badlands. That first picture with the sharpness of the ridge contrasted by the haziness of the sun and the delicate cloud is gorgeous. So are all the other pictures in this grouping.
