That was awesome!!!! Almost had me in tears. I miss playing that music a lot. I was tapping my feet and was about to get my bodhran out and play along.

I have a house in Cole Harbour but I've been living in Victoria now for 2 yrs. Expect to go back next summer.

Fantastic riding and great people. Loved the pic with you holding the lobster and a huge grin.

Well done and thanks for sharing.

Ken

Yes it did...heavy rains and flooding. The road is back in service albeit with a temporary bridge. There were tourists interviewed on CBC Radio who chose to stay until the bridge was replaced rather than be taken out by boat. The residents of Meat Cove made sure that they didn't go without. Inviting campers into their homes for meals etc.

I'm orignally from Cheticamp, not terribly far from Meat Cove, (living near Halifax now) and I am always glad to hear and read that visitors enjoy the " Trail "
The friendly people, the scenery and the laid back pace make it paradise in my books !
8 more yrs until I retire back home...but who's counting ? ..lol

Very friendly. one of our group lowsided and wrote off her bike north of Cheticamp and the people we met in Cheticamp, because of that, were awesome. they really took care of her. funny thing is i had to get the German in our group to tell me what that flag was, lol.

Default Awesome

Looks like a fantastic trip. That's the sort of ride I'd love to take if I could get away long enough to do so. That bridge you went across in the rain, though... I could probably live without that experience. Looked like it was a tad bit windy.
