I got you Quatered. Getting the wife in the car the other day I had one little tiny mantis dude on my finger nail. Only a Quarter inch in total.
I was wondering what the lizards around here were eating, ants and mantis I guess.
I've see fresh tarantula hatchlings. They are little tiny dudes too and a lot of them! Then they kill stuff and get big and hairy.
Seeing the new born of most species is really neat and something we don't get to see all the time.

Garage
They are fascinating, aren't they? I especially enjoy their camouflage.

Guess a few are nice like Lady Bugs and Mantis. The fire flys,Lighting bugs,or what ever called in your neck of the woods are nice to see in a field at night.Feel sorry for them when they mash on a the windshield or visor and still light a while.
The deer and other critters are so thick now you see the eyes shine as you ride down the back roads at night. One of the best times feel wise not safe is dark on a hot,hot summer night and hit a low spot and feels like AC.New ones you ride double find this mind blowing!

I found this guy in my garage one day. That was a "yikes!" moment for me. Three inches from spike to butt. If I'd have hit him on the motorcycle, it would have been like getting hit with a rifled slug.
