I don't currently have a V-Strom, but I'm doing some research here and need to buy something for a bigger trip in 2014. For now, I ride my Monster 796 everywhere (love this bike more than any I've owned) and have done several reasonable trips on it as well. Heading to Yellowstone, Idaho, Seattle and back(2800km), in the spring on it, but would like a Wee for our ride to Cancun in 2014. Just need to figure out if it's the bike for me.

I just added a 2000 KTM 640 Enduro to the stable. It's a nice bike but it's in need of some TLC before I take it out on the highway or in the dirt. I'll post up some picts tomorrow.

Now Im going to need to find a good KTM forum. Any suggestions?

I just picked up an 04 savage from a coworker who was very short on cash. (Basic money management should be a high school requirement) I could be persuaded to part with it. I was hoping my wife would want to learn to ride but alas she is content to ride as passenger. Only 2250 miles. I would love to build a Ryca cafe racer but would it take quite a while for that to work its way up the priority list.
