| Other Motorcycles Forum for you to discuss anything about any other motorcycles. Good place for former (and soon to be) V-Strom owners to keep on the site even though they are without a strom. |

IK absolutely love the Goldwing F6B. It is exactly what I have wished the Goldwing was. Now all I have to do is come up with a spare 20 grand my wife won't notice missing.

I'm starting to truly loathe riding on the highway. That has something to do with the 50k miles a year I've done for the past 35 years (mostly cage riding, but 100k miles on Vstroms since 2005). The DL would be a much better bike on the highway, but 47HP is reasonable.

You gotta hand it to Honda for bringing truly new models to market. I was a bit surprised by the Goldwing chopper....reminds me of those old Mercury chopped hot rods....I really like it, and I bet it would be a great bike to cruise around on, or go on a long long ride.
And, introducing some compelling low-cost bikes that look fun and also can be had with factory luggage, heated grips, etc. is making Honda look serious again. Even that XL250 or whatever it's called seems to be a great bike that's very affordable too.... I can't imagine they'll be bringing very many 1100's into the states - it's totally a niche bike. For those who buy it, they'll truly appreciate it. It's nice to see a company release bikes that are fun for regular ol' street riding for once.....

HD's Street Glide gets a lot of attention from posers who don't really want the full blown Electra Glide. Looks as if Honda wants some of that kind of attention too. As for me, it would be considered heavily if I were in the market. I've heard so many times from friends that the GW was too much bike for them at this point in their life. Always looking for something without the "kitchen sink". I think this is Honda's way of meeting them half way.

Good real world power - great mileage - great utility - affordable! Sounds like my Wee - I'm just ready for something different after 30k. Everything else is euro I'm interested in and is $$$. The exception is the new V. But I'm not sure (as everyone else) on price or mpg with it.

Of all these new bikes coming out, that new Kawasaki 300 ninja really has caught my eye. A small engined sportbike is 10x more fun to ride LEGALLY than any other sportbike......
