I'm surprised Honda is really going to release the CB1100 in the U.S. The Japanese have not been very successful in the past with their retro bikes here, such as Kawasaki's W650, Zepher 1100, the ZRX 1100/1200 did OK. I like the bike, it could be a great starting point for a custom, but I personally like the early 70's style (rounder tank) a little better than this early 80's style treatment. As someone mentioned, they even copied those cheap looking comstar wheels, I'd love to see it with spoke wheels.

I think that Goldwing F6B is ugly as hell. Maybe it looks better in person, but it's not for me!

So it looks like you will be able to get the 500 with ABS and manual clutch. This is frustrating as in the states, if you want the NC700X with ABS, you have to get that dual autoclutch option. If they would sell it with a manual clutch and ABS I'd get one.

Never thought I would say this, but I kinda like the Goldwing! It reminds me of a Victory Vision minus the ugly!

4.5 gallon tank, they're saying 290 miles per fillup.

Mid 60's then........not bad.

And at 6k for buy in.......might be a winner.
