Default Honda NC700X ???

Has anyone experienced this bike?
Just saw a write-up and it would appear Honda is taking a pretty direct stab at the Wee and offering a heck of a price.

Yeh, we'll all have seen and discussed it in depth here a few times... The consensus is that it is a another Honda "yawner"...

This! ^

It's basically a glorified scooter with big wheels...

I think it looks nice. It is a lower performance version of the wee.

It does have some advantages in MPG and the storage where the gas tank normally would be is pretty cool. I've heard that if you keep the RPM's low it has "enough" power but the top end is much lower than the wee.

Being a honda you can count on the fit and finish to be great. It will probably also be a bit bland.

I was waiting for these to come out before I bought my wee. fortunately for me, I started looking around and fell for the '12 wee. Love my bike. What I really liked about the Honda was the gas tank storage. I was riding my old '76 GT550 around and to work and it was a big problem for me to wear a backpack all the time. Didn't want to add farkles to the GT, she is a bone stock original classic, and that's how she'll stay as long as I own her. Coming from a dirt bike background, I didn't like the idea of bags. (I've gotten past that now)

I would take a hard look at the NC700X IF the power matched the wee.

I am still getting acquainted with this site so:
1. I figured out how to do a "search" and found quite a bit of info here on this bike.
2. Found the "other Bikes" area...

Learning more and more.
This is a great site!

Overall consensus, it isn't a V-Strom! Lovin my 2012 Wee...

Not enough power, only revs to 6000.

Default Honda NC700X

I was looking at the honda website and saw something funny. The "bags" on this bike are fake. It's an accessory fake panel to match the top box.

So do you think they come off and you can put factory luggage in their place?

Edit: I just checked. Those are actually 29 litre saddlebags.
