| Other Motorcycles Forum for you to discuss anything about any other motorcycles. Good place for former (and soon to be) V-Strom owners to keep on the site even though they are without a strom. |

Ultimately, it is one of the factors for deciding which ST I get, among others. Sitting on them - and if they have Demo Days, all the better - will be a biggie. Sent from my iPhone using MO Free so there will be grammatical, syntax, and spelling errors. |

I had them both, and they were both great. The 5 speed vs. 6 speed didn't bother me. The Concours had less drive train lash getting off and on the throttle. Other than that, I found them very similar.

buddy bought a new 03 fjr in 03. bike was a lemon. bike would quit running without warning. dealer worked on his bike several times for no fix. buddy sued yamaha under ohio lemon law. 2yrs. later, yamaha settled out of court. yamaha gave buddy full price for this 03 on condition he trade it in on 05 fjr. which he did, paid $600.. difference due to 05 price increase. the 05 fjr was ok. i know others including myself who have had problems with yamaha mc's. turned me against owning yamaha mc's forever.
