Well at least maybe Honda learned a lesson with the $15,000 DN-1 and are keeping the price in line with the product.

I think it's a sharp looking bike with some innovative features. I think it will be a success. It sounds like the price is going to similar to the new Vstrom 650. It does not interest me personally, because I am looking for more off-road performance. I am still anxiously awaiting the new "rumored" KTM 800.

I own 2 Hondas but am not impressed with the NC700 - I think the Wee motor is better. Better to buy a used Wee and pay for a couple years insurance with the cost savings.

3.7 gallon gas tank really limits its range. makes it a more around town bike

It's been talked about before here... the consensus seems to be... Meh...

A friend has one. Really nice to ride. Torque is awsome from the bottom and the small gas tank ins't a minus. He managed to het 3,2 liters/100km !!!!

I'm hoping they will have some at the Honda display in Daytona for test rides.

Its received mixed reviews in British bike magazines although the positive reviews are very glowing indeed! The small fuel tank probably isn't much of a minus as the reviews are showing 60mpg with hard riding!
Looks ok but my Wee is such a competant all round bike that I can't see much replacing it!

I like it. I wouldn't replace my Wee with it, but it's nice to see the trend towards entry-level street bikes designed like adventure-touring bikes rather than mimicking race bikes. The Honda to me looks like what the new Japanese UJM "standard" bike should be.
