Other Motorcycles Forum for you to discuss anything about any other motorcycles. Good place for former (and soon to be) V-Strom owners to keep on the site even though they are without a strom.

Best wishes with your new bike. I think that bike would sell well now in the USA. Triumph seems to be doing well with their bonnie, you pay a premium to get the model with the wire wheels, and the Triumph dealer network is limited in the USA. Kawasaki should think seriously about marketing that bike here in the USA.

They may take another run at it here but if you recall during the time they were selling the W650 here Triumph was selling their Bonnie as a 795 and it never was cheap.
Kawasaki dealers had to heavily discount the W650 to move them.
When the smoke cleared, Triumph was stilll selling the Bonneville and Kawi took their ball and went home.
This was despite many road tests praising the Kawasaki and some even calling it the more desirable of the two.
I can't see any particular reason Kawasaki would be anxious to go round two, I don't think they really like having to give merchandise away to sell it.
