Trust me, an azzhat will be an azzhat regardless of the kind of bike they own.

No. Butthead is the "bung-hole." Beavis is the "butt-munch."

Actually, I had been "crusin" for a long time before I became an anal retentative Adv-biker who spends more time with a micrometer trying to align his rear than riding.
I thought you guys would wave back when I passed you on my Vee but nooooooo! Thank God for the crusier dude behind you who waved twice to make up for it.
IDK watcha talkin bout?

That was my path also. The strom is my first adv-bike if that is what it is. I have owned HDs, standards (mostly), tourers, dual sports and two cruisers.

I always just figured they were bikes and kept me out of a car for the day. I have switched to Hi-Viz over the years and full face helmets, but I did that with my Harley and pre-Vstrom.

I have never sensed a difference in any riders except the very few unfortunate enough to own a true chopper. If any one group suprises me it is the adv group whom always seems to be looking at a GPS or odometer and really does not appear to even be looking for other riders, I guess they are just looking out for cagers.

In re-reading the thread I can perhaps see how my first post may have been (and man it's a stretch) conceived as a dig at strompilot. But be reassured, harassing strompilot was not my intention at all. If anything I felt I was rolling along "with" him.
My humor obviously was misconstrued as mockery. That was not my intent.

And as for strompilot's response...
" Um, well, methinks you misunderstand, Grasshopper.
The fact that I also own a cruiser doesn't equate to turning into an azzhat when I'm riding it."

I'm still a little confused as to how you (strompilot) took my generic comments as personal hit, especially since just about every member here, including me, owns multiple bikes.
But regardless, malice was NOT in any way my intent, and your right, I'm the new guy here and the last thing I need to do is dig myself a hole with you or any of the others that keep this forum rolling along.

My apologies to strompilot for my dim attempt at humor.

Honestly I have no idae wht this thread is supposed to be about.

I almost made an inappropriate comment so I'll try now.

Also, I took the wife's Harley out for a little spin yesterday.

It was kinda fun short-shifting through all that down-low torque in my full faced helmet, Olympia riding gear and Birkenstocks.

Seems to be par for the course on the forum these days. Can we please have some politics or personal attack threads? Nah, forget it -- I have a huge collection of photos of kittens I can post...
