I got a very cherry 1998 BMW K1200RS. I actually picked it out and bought it, but the real "Christmas Present" part was the wifey giving me the thumbs up to go for it! It is partially a gift for her too as she likes to do some touring with me.

Me too! Seriously cool fun. I've crashed it plenty of times but no damage so far - still it'll be a while before I convert to turbines...

Having your daughter home for the holidays is awesome. My three kids are home for the holidays.

My wife gave me a fork brace. I am very grateful for it. My son gave me a bike on learning to ride well called Proficient Motorcycling. I am very grateful for that too.

Blessing you all.

Motorcycling reading - Jeremy Kroeker's "Motorcycle Therapy" and Derek Lundy's "Borderlands". Both are Canadians. Derek is a friend, and everything I've read of his so far has been exceptional.

...and...to follow on a growing theme here, my 9 year old son received an RC helicopter too. He smoked his 18 year old cousin flying it first time out. Maybe he'll let me try it some day
