I figure that this is the place to vent with something that I have noticed. It is becoming increasingly popular to make a post in this and other forums with an intriguing title and then post a link to a video or an article that exists elsewhere without any other content to the post.

I find this particularly annoying because I don't like to wander around the "internet countryside" looking up references to others points of interest to find out what the subject might be.

Now, I fully understand that this is most probably just me being a jerk or something else maybe a little more colorfully worded. So, if I'm just being unreeasonable, ignore me, while I ramble on.

I wish, the thread/topic originator would at least post some descriptive message about the link or video to which he/she is referencing. Just my opinion, worth less than the white space to write it here.
