Will do. I'll give him a high five in a few months myself.

Hey mark and Cindy, will do. Our son is in the corps and did a tour earlier this year. He was able to call fairly often so hopefully that's the case for y'all.
Thank him for his service for me and God bless.

Much respect to your son and all who are serving out there. Do what you have to do and be proud. Most of all make sure you get home safe.

Sending safe wishes to your son.
He may encounter my Son-in-law, he's over at Camp Leatherneck.

What service? Unit? MOS?

Best of luck to him. And remember "Army Strong, Bullet Stronger."

Gladly. 7 combat tours 'tween my son and son-in-law. Take the time with him when he returns to make sure he's maintaining perspective. Unfortunately, they aren't getting the best counseling when they get back.

I paid for private counseling with a PTSD expert and it helped a lot.

Prayers enroute.

Default My family will say a prayer for yours...

...and he (and you) should be proud that he's doing what such a small percentage of Americans do: serve their country through military service.

He'll make memories that will last a lifetime. I know my 25 years in the Army largely defines my life in a very good way.

Thanks.
