Default World of Tanks

Hey all, check out this game I stumbled upon, World of Tanks

It's free to play, a 3gb download, and fun. It's basically all these old WW2 tanks from various countries that battle off against each other in 15 minute matches (assuming one team survives that long, lol). If I knew more about the game, I'd give more detail as to the crew skills and upgrades, but I've only played it for a day.

I just took it cautiously because I was so new and did relatively well considering I could have charged in and gotten obliterated in the first minute without learning a thing. Camping while hidden in a bush at least let me take in some of the aspects while the battles raged on. Got my butt handed to me a few times, but it was still fun. Haven't spent a dime on it yet.

Check out some of this guy's videos for helpful tips:

I find computer games like this to be so addictive that I have to avoid them all together. I swear these things can be like crack cocaine I think I had better pass.

That's pretty disciplined. Moderation has never been my strong suit.

I played this when it first came out. Excellent game considering it is Free. But like Jarlaxle28, I learned I must be disciplined or I'll play games way too much.

Nope, still contemplating that. I am flying up the 1st of January, the wife will fly up a couple of months later, then we will come back in late spring or early summer and drive back up with a load of stuff. I have have to hire a moving company to take care of some of it.
