Sounds good, 76 and sunny here today-75 miles in the country.
We don't have an eagle season in Fla., they're protected. Got any recipes?

Protected here also. They disappear in the spring and return to winter along the Mississippi. Impressive to see in the wild, bring major tourist $$ to the area. Even accidentally dispatching one will cost ya big time.

While living at MacDill AFB in Tampa FL a few years ago a very expensive housing project was put on hold for many many months waiting for a colocated eagle family to vacate their nest. It was quite a hoot. Also, there were some awesome parrots that lived on the base too. Huge birds, and they would build great big wild nest right on top of the power transformers. Often times they would cause electrical problems for the housing units and the result would be a few dead parrots, and the ones that didn't die seemed to be very unhappy.

I know its totally irrelevant to the discussion of eagles but my son was born on Macdill AFB. Good thing Tampa general hospital has a world class neonatal intensive care unit or my son would not have survived being born at Macdill hosp.
