Dirt Dad I guess the Harley guys are trying to get even. While riding this spring at the V-strom Rally our small group ran into a wreck involving a couple Harley baggers. Come to find out after an internet search a S-10 rider was traveling to fast leading his group and went into their lane crashing into them.

You better watch out since they missed you. They will prob try again.

Im glad you made it ok... I would have dumped a brick in my riding suit!

Jon's on a Super Ténéré these days, but we still don't want him collected.

Sounds fishy, maybe a biased reporter. Someone check his credentials.

Thx for the video. That was in a controlled environment with an expected onset and it was still puckering. Some of the best riders ever in the motor ranks and that bike still did what it wanted to, even pushing wide more than once.

Demonstrates the problem very well. Thx again.

I know!!!

If it was for the person in the post bragging about his SPOT getting medical responders to the scene when his cell phone didn't get reception then I would have been more suspicious also.

Its possible that he was new to riding HDs. Often the riding of them increases the blood flow to your penis so much that it causes a rather large erection and actually throws you off balance. It can be a bit startling until you get used to it.

I did happen to catch the tractor that pulled directly in front of me. Glad I wasn't distracted for that one.

It was a weird kind of day. Had to be alert for so many reasons today.
I think I see the problem. You're driving way too fast for what is obviously a tractor only road.

If you'd been driving the appropriate Harley tractor you would have been completely safe as the tractor would have been long gone before you could get there.

I'm always surprised and amazed that someone would take their feet off their pegs during a moment of panic or evasive maneuvers. Like putting your foot down is going to do anything compared to the weight and speed of the bike.

Always looks like a 5 year old panicking before a crash on their pedal bike.

Glad to hear you found a few more inches of road Dirt_Dad and was able to get though.

Edit: I take some of that back, it might help if they were wearing roller blades while riding

He probably had them up in the gyno stirrups when things went awry.

I noticed that on the Dragon yesterday, I guess its just badassery.
