well not here because the cops dont arrest you for smoking weed. I imagine that situation is pretty different in the US.

i think perhaps, as many have agreed, our war on drugs has been a total failure and produced nothing but an overpopulated prison system, mostly with poor minorities.

make it legal, tax it. end of story

Amen, our government needs a war on something always to raise taxes and revenues. War on drugs, but the guys in white jackets kill thousands with pain killers.....yeah right. You get your buzz from a brown plastic bottle filled with pills. And your superior? I don't think so.

I worry more about boozers than potheads when I am on the highway.

We have random breath testing here. Often that also means that the cops will also do presumptive drug testing, too. While you won't get arrested for having taken drugs, they will stop you driving for at least 24 hours if you come up positive for the roadside drug test. However, if you come up positive, they may then do a vehicle and/or personal search for drugs. If found, then it all changes.

Personally, I'm quite happy with both random breath and drug testing if it gets drinkers and drug users off the roads. I don't drink drive and I don't take any illegal drugs.

I'd like to see the law take it a step further and impound the cars of both if they test positive.

I cannot think of a bigger failure in the last 50 years than the USA's stand on Marijuana use and cultivation. Canada as well, but not so much.

Everyday, thousands of lives are impacted negatively through the use and abuse of alcohol and these lie spewing hippocrites in office continue to paint a simple plant as the second coming of Heroin.... has anyone ever heard of someone on a Pot fueled Rampage? How about a Booze fueled one???

Oxycode's have destroyed thousands of lives... yeah it's OK, big Pharma would not hurt us for profit...

Legalize it, sell it like alcohol, reap the profits.... hell you may even have a calmer populace....
