Cool,I know the other dealers I contacted said they won't do it.I found a guy,2 wheel dyno that puts it on a dyno and adjusts the FI for a very reasonable price so I might try him.

Something you might keep in mind. As I understand it, the fueling issue with the 1K is not JUST a mapping issue of the bike running lean to meet USA regulations. The 1K has to do a tightrope dance which includes the TPS,TBS,idle adjustment, and mapping. So to make her happy ALL the adjustments need to be checked. If one just slaps on a PCIII or the Yosh Box by itself it will only mask other issues and will effect fuel mileage. To me fuel mileage is only critically important as to distance to needing fuel. I tend to wonder around on the two lane back roads and forest service roads. So distance to the next fuel is important to me. So all I am saying is if everything in the fuel system is up to spec and the bike is still not running the way YOU want it to run then a Dyno tune my help get you want you want. Remember that the 07 1K does not have an O2 Sensor so unless you are willing to have them install a bung in your exhaust (that sounds a bit off) Dyno tuning the 1k will be a hit or miss deal. JMHO

Nels over at 2 wheels says he's done alot of DL1000's and he uses a factory Suzuki box along with his dyno.MPG's important to me so If I'm going to loose more 5-10% than I might not do it.

Sounds like your all set. Without a PCIII and using factory tweaked spec's my fuel mileage varies from 35 mpg winter to 41 mpg summer. Once the 1K get dialed in and the stumble etc tamed it is a nice ride. I am in no way affiliated with Aroura Suzuki, just a happy customer. Please let us know how it all turns out.
