Today I finally installed a few things onto HoebSTrom. Rick Hughes axles spacers, folding shift lever, metal off road foot pegs, ASV levers and a Givi tall screen, along with a chain adjustment/cleaning.
I have noticed a few things right away: slightly more turbulance of air on noggen, but fewer rain drops; smoother shifting less clunking into and between gears, no shift lever "free play". I think with it wet here alot this time of year, the pegs will be good for wet footing.

Isn't it amazing how much a good chain adjustment can do to shifting?

Do you have a MadStad bracket? We installed the Givi screen and noted the same conditions you described.
Installed a MadStad and adjusted the screen lower and slightly aft cured the problem. BTW, dis you install the ASV levers with the OEM handguards? Take care, JC

Raptor,
Yep!! they installed with stock handguards!! I will have to mention if anyone else is interested that Aurora Suzuki has a stack of these and are willing to make a deal on them to get them out of inventory during the winter. I got mine for $25 off each one.

Gorge,
I am about done, well that is unless I get the gel seat this coming week for my birthday I asked for. Well, I would rather have the Garmin 60csx before the seat. Well, there is the Madstad, and the Pro-Taper SE ATV Mid's. Nah, I have to finish tiling my bathroom first. It has been apart for 2 months now installing a walk in shower from a tub.

Well, I finally got around to adding some more farkle to the bike this weekend -- specifically hand guards and the OEM heated grips. Thank God I found someone (here or on advrider) mentioning that it is helpful to partially drop the radiator to find the wiring harness, otherwise I'd probably still be looking for it. The new grips seem to work fine. With apologies to the Beatles, happiness is a warm glove...

It does suck the thread out of the carpet though!!! I made a pass over some old carpet, then once again with the DYson, it SUCKS!!! Amazing how much more was picked up out of the carpet after running the old hoover. I guess, I have been whining about a new sweeper for some time now.
THANKS DAD (HAAR) FOR RUBBING IT IN!!! In cases other Strommers didn't get this post, or the one before from HAAR, I had asked for a couple things for birthday (since wife asked me) and i responded with some stuff for the VEE, like a Gel seat. Well, she pulls out this long box wrapped with a ribbon on it. I proceed to say outloud before opening, "yes a seat for my V"!! I grab the ribbon, yank on it, and it is a Dyson Animal Vacuum cleaner. Surprises on one's birthday are always a great thing. So, we went to dinner, had some Lamb shank, then came home and test drove the new sweeper to prove to my wife how crappy her old hoover really was!!!! She too was impressed. Jeff

We bought the Dyson pet machine with the new carpet install. Best vac I have ever owned. I'ts actually kind of gross thinking about how much dirt and hair we've been living with before getting it
![]() As for Farkling, I have plans for a fuse block (thanks for the info L&S), and some grip heaters. With the snow flying by the window this afternoon Been too busy taking my gun for a walk to do much riding lately. I should do a study of miles walked as compared to birds bagged. I'm sure it would be interesting.
