Two recent sightings. First one was a black Wee on Friday evening, a little before 6, coming just south of the Terwilliger curves in I-5 south. I was on the blue Wee. Second was a grey Wee, early Saturday afternoon. You were headed north on Terwilliger and it looked like you were turning left off of Terwilliger just north of US Bank which is where I was headed in the cage.

Thursday - 4/28th

NB 405 just south of Totem Lake area, around 5:15pm

Silver Wee with rider in hi-viz yellow.

Once again I was caged. Hopefully that will change in about a month when I can move the Orangesicle down south from my island paradise (a long story...)

Orangesicle, maybe when you start riding I will see you as I head to Totem Lake exit every morning and evening. Go in at 7:15ish and home 5:15ish. I don't have the STrom any more, but will be a big dude on a bright green KLR650 if you see one!!!

Later, Jeff

Hey, Jeff:

I'll keep an eye out for you.

I'm still probably a month away from regular commuter riding because of my garage situation and a brand new Russell seat.

Keep the rubber side down,

Bruce aka Orangesicle

Default Washington SR14 5/1/2011

I was heading west on SR14 between Lyle and Camas, Washington on Sunday May 1st and saw a few hundred different bikes all headed east bound. There were several Stroms among them, usually riding with a group of other bikes (never solo). I was on a grey DL650, grey Aerostich and grey helmet, with a blue duffel bag and tent sitting on the seat behind me (with black Givi side cases and top cases).

In an unrelated note, the last 20 miles were spent following a guy on a low-slung Harley wearing a half-head helmet. I waved at every bike coming toward us; he never waved once. Maybe his mother didn't show him enough affection as a child.

It could have been my boyfriend and I. We were camping in Big Basin and came back highway nine...but we were two stroms, black and gray, and a BMW all with side bags. What a great weekend for riding!!!

I was out there yesterday (SR 14 I-205 to carson) - with a couple buddies - I was riding Furious-Stylz old ride - I was with two other V-stroms (yellow and gray) a Ducati SR2 and a Vulcan.

we went for a 190 miler - up to lake merwin, just south of mt st helens - too many bikes (of all types) to count. I saw an orange V-strom in Carson, WA. Epic ride. Hopefully just the first of many.

Just checking. Is NF25.NF 90 open through from Randle to Carson by any chance? Looks like they have been working on 410 since April, and 123 as well. Im pretty sure I could get over 12 without too much trouble. Have some time off next weekend but the weather looks like crap on the Passes, so might just wait until late May.
