I did figure on route 23 to be pretty much stop and go, but figured that I might take my chances on it. Ah you know maybe see something interesting, but I don't want to do the parade thing neither. I did have alternative routes to go (instead of 23), but it was getting a bit cold as the day went on and had “untested” cold weather gear so decided to bail. I didn't want to risk freezing on the bike for the ride back, but found out that the gear that I had worked perfectly, other then the face mask occasionally fogging up.


I will be back in the spring time to explore more, maybe even go a bit further to York and visit the HD factory out there


I got a little tired of always going up north, or north-west, and wanted to try a new direction. Maybe I'll also try a little south (I think that there is a active drive in movie theater still in Maryland somewhere).

How was your trip that day? I see from the maps that it should have been a nice all day ride. Dont know if you have been here yet, but I heard that its a nice place to visit and even camp over night

This will be my weekend trip some time in 2010, and I'll gather the group for this one. This should be a decent 4 hour trip up, camping and 4 hours back home.
