Very sad, one dead and nine injured. I can't help but think that some of the injuries could have been avoided if the motorcyclists weren't riding so close together (as many do these days).
I had similar mishap in Utah north of Vernal. Truck turned left with out checking to see if there was other traffic.
He had malfunctioning tail lights on the trailer too.
Seems that the cruiser crowd likes to do things en-mass including passing.
Our rag tag bunch leaves getting around other vehicles to the individual.
Ride your own ride!
Some were Hells Angels and a few other clubs. The HA had some sort of bash near Ottawa recently. Hundreds of them. They toured around Parliament in Ottawa and were very polite, according to news reports.
Unfortunately, some cruiser clubs insist on riding side by side to look cool. Duh.
