Thinkin' about it. I like to get back to my home and native land every now and then. Now that my Green Card has been renewed I am looking forward to more trips up north.

Jstrom, we keep hearing about your hopes to visit Canada, but we also keep on not seeing you among the maple leaves. Well, I am in Canada now, and I recall that I owe you a flop, so why don't you come to Toronto some time this month, stay a night or two with me at our (= my wife's and my) apartment on Yonge Street, and ride with me, for example to Bike Night (= any Thursday) at Haugen's? V-Tom is a sucker for this event, and maybe we can get the usual gang of suspects to join us.

Pardon me for hi-jacking this thread, but Jstrom and I have been making all sorts of cordial noises at each other, and have not yet met. Here is yet another opportunity for the gent from North Collins NY and the bum from Sarasota to bend some elbows and swap some lies. What say???

Hit a deer on Father's Day down in central PA but am almost healed and the bike is back together. Bad news is I'm changing employment situations and will be uber busy for a bit what with setting up a new shop and making the transition over from the old one. I'm still here in Olean, NY though so you can stop by if in the neighborhood. Rode up to Ellicottville, NY yesterday to meet my youngest stepson for lunch and ran into a bunch of riders from Hamilton enjoying the Civic Holiday weekend. Stay in and one of these days we will ride together

About as far as I usually get is the Niagara Peninsula and wouldn't enjoy riding anywhere near the GTA! Got enough of that commuting to trade school in Scarborough back in the '80's. I avoid anything more than two lanes wide like the plague. Stop by sometime and I'll show you parts of PA you haven't seen yet, depending on work commitments, of course. The new gig might be a Monday to Saturday thing for awhile till we get things fine tuned a bit. PM me for location and phone # details if you like.
