Brian,

Has the Ohio Rally been scheduled yet? I was there last year and it was a nice time.

Sorry. Now I see it on the Events area. Will check my schedule.

I'm not sure yet. I think my wife's family is visiting from Atlanta that weekend. However, I was wanting to set up a lunch run to Schmidt's for some fine German food. Interested?

See everyone here in a few. It looks like we'll be chasing the rain out of the state

Alas, I just learned that my attendance is required elsewhere...

Y'all have fun!

Uh.......yeah!!!!!! Of course really no excuse for not coming to the rally, I promise you wont get forced off the road this time. Bring that KLR cause me and Steve are gonna lead a "really fun" offroad group, Glen is leading a road ride and hopefully somebody else will step up to lead another. We are gonna print out maps of all the incredible roads, so hopefully folks will venture out on their own too.

I am debating whether I want to throw my hat in to lead another group, or join you and Steve on this offroad expedition. If you saw the route I mapped out and test rode on Friday last year (and had everyone chicken out for on Saturday), there were definitely portions far better suited to a DR650 or KLR, but the Strom handled them well enough. There are some incredible township and county roads that barely qualify as roads!

Default It was a good ride

Well three of us managed to make it and had a good ride through southern Indiana yesterday. We stopped and had lunch at the 58 Cafe' in Kurtz (this is a great place if you are hungry and like tenderloins)

I met one new rider, Gypsy. Great guy and good rider. I also got reacquainted with another, svrider65066, that I worked with some 17 years ago at a small motorcycle shop that is no longer around. It was fun and I throughly enjoyed myself and hope to catch up with these guys again.

On a side note. We encountered a group of Dual Sport riders that hang out on ADVrider. It looked like they were having fun and had a wide cross section of different bikes, everything from a Super Sherpa to a 1200GS.
