I live in Baja more specifically Cabo San Lucas. I have made the trip in my car and it is a great ride. (going north to get my Vee Strom soon) things are very safe and if you need any info at all please feel free to PM me. I am also a Motorcycle Tech and have contacts and can help out in those regards.

You want to pick dates so I can get out that Sharpie before things start getting tight? The later in the month the better for me.

Great info! I'm definitely planning to head down in October sometime... don't know if I'll make it all the way to Cabo, but definitely Loreto or Mulegé.
