Well, my kisan chargeguard has apparently died. I've had it for 2 or 3 years with no problems on my last bike. I've been installing farkles for the past 2months on Saturdays, so I've had the bike (new to me '05 wee) in my Honda charger.

I want an ammeter and voltmeter (digital), but I haven't seen anything out there. What do you guys use to monitor current draw/voltage?

Most riders only use a voltmeter. Ammeters are prone to problems as the entire electrical load goes through them. The Kisan charge guard has had multiple reports of failure and it's the only commonly used ammeter I know of. A voltmeter does the job nicely figuring 12.6-12.8V is the break even point, with lower being discharge, and 14.8V is the maximum you ever want to see. Datel is a commonly used voltmeter.

Not sure of the brand but I bought 3 of these a few months ago of Ebay.They were $8 each with free shipping and they say they are waterproff.

Thank you for your replies. After thinking about it, I agree with you greywolfe. That's what I do in my car. It's certainly the easiest & cheapest solution. I've decided that it world also be nice to have a temp gauge. Looking for options now
Hopefully I'll find a local one today.
