Does anyone know where I can get (outside of Touratech), or has any fabricated, the following item:

Or, has anyone found an alternative to using the stock locking plates? I have everything but the one little plate.

I have lost the "L" bracket twice now due to them coming loose from vibration. I JUST ordered another replacement from Touratech today! I'm going to ditch the nylon acorn nuts, trim the threaded portion WAY down, and cross drill the stud to accept a standard hitch pin. Then I'm going to take the two hitch pins and fasten a light cable between them. This should prevent them from EVER coming off again, and still allow for easy removal.
