So, in my never-ending quest to find the "perfect" (perfect being defined as cheapo, easy to install & actually works) throttle lock, I came across this --->
I e-mailed the company asking if I could use it on a 650 V-Strom with hand guards. I was assured that it would fit & work perfectly. Hence, I bought it. I can only lose $20 if it does not work. I should receive it next week but, I'm too much of a sissy to ride in weather below 50°F (I have my Datsun 240Z for that) so I will not know if it really functions as advertised until March. For anyone interested, click here --->motorcycle passenger handles

If this works, I'm going to feel like an idiot for buying the kaoko, which costs five times as much and is not so easy to engage while riding.

Thought about getting one for my son then starting looking a little closer and I think it won't work to well with the factory handguards. Let me know if I'm wrong.

That's what I was thinking too, be interested in knowing how it works.

A correctly sized O ring ticks every one of those boxes.

A 240Z? Photos please!
I had a silver '72. That was one fine automobile; but the rust on Cocoa Beach was more than it could survive. Too bad the Japanese hadn't discovered zinc when it was built.
