Don't know if this has ever been mentioned... but looks like an easy control for an ipod.
Timex iControl IronMan watch. Looks like something that could easily be attached to the handlebars or tank bag for remote control of an ipod.

Have a look at remote controls somewhere like iPodLounge and you will get real information not just Amazons marketing spin.

I use a Monster Cable unit, that can be attached to the bike, or worn on your arm, works well.
For only Why spend $100+ dollars on a watch, that cannot be worn when needed on the bike? |

Here's my short thread on the same topic:
http://www.stromtrooper.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=47049 When I had my iPod in a pocket I wanted a reliable remote but wasn't satisfied with any I used. This winter I'll be integrating a Starcomm unit with the iPod, a Midland handheld CB, and perhaps GPS audio. The iPod and CB will be mounted on a handlebar crossbar courtesy of Twisted Throttle, thus I went with the H20 Audio waterproof case offering waterproof protection and direct access to functionality. iPod does have a remote control/FM radio attachment.
Plug your headset into it and you can clip it on your tank bag, cuff of your jacket etc.. The control acts just like the ones on the iPod except you can use gloves with it. The downside is that it will not charge/run the iPod from a 12v outlet.

The buttons are large, and well spaced out, easy to operate with gloves, it's weatherproof, and can either be worn on included armband, or put on the bike somewhere. I put mine on the clutch reservoir, and it worked just fine. If getting a remote, you have to make sure it's RF, not IR. My iPod is inside my breast pocket of my jacket, and it works just fine, I hate dangling wires or anything that restricts movement while getting on/off the bike, self contained is the way to go IMO. |

I've just ordered the pocket amp 2 from electric-avenues.com. This is powered with rechargeable batteries said to have a full charge lasting for about 100 hours.
