Default Hard Luggage - Maybe too wide?

Hello!

Hopefully this is the correct area to post this.

I recently mounted some aluminum luggage that I purchased from Ebay on my Wee. I already had Moto-Sport racks that worked really well with my older soft luggage I just replaced. Believe it or not, I spent hours going through the "luggage" photo thread and thought I was ok with my purchase. Now I am not sure if I went too wide. I put 9" wide cases on. The overall is 40". I have them up pretty high. From what I can tell from another thread is that the SW-Motech Rack with Pelican 1550's are overall 40" wide too and I think the pelicans may even be a little taller. My cases are 18"X15"X9".

I took the bike out for a spin today. I leaned as much as I could, but I was not loaded down and really have no idea how to ride twisties with any sort of aggression, so this was not much of a test, but no scraping so far.

I don't expect anyone to offer advice not knowing all the factors involved here and the fact this is a safety issue. What I was hoping for was that based on the photos below if maybe someone could tell me if the have similar setups dimensionally and if there were any problems. Or maybe, just looking at the photos someone might say right off the bat I am taking too much of a risk. I have no problem getting rid of them and going narrower if needed, but I would really like the added width for storage.

Thanks,
Jim
