They do. Well you can have your existing basket modified for far less than the retail price of a new basket here in the UK. Designed to last the life of the bike with re-engineering of the internal damper. Been doing them for over two years.

Depends on condition but only two beyond it in close to 200 done here to date. Need bikes year, mileage and distance on the basket along with clutch history and symptoms in PM or email. Then I can respond with further checks to help diagonse and give fair indication as to it being the chudder or something else. If it is and you decide to go ahead with the modification its one week turn round for UK. Just two weeks and two days for the rest of the world. Those times include shipping in both directions and time for the engineering work. They come here from all over the world. SV1000 baskets need the same work.

Can anyone who has performed the swap offer any revisions to the already excellent P.P. presentation ?

I've read that water pump cover does not need to be removed for example.

Any updates / revisions appreciated.

Everyone will do it a little different. There is no reason at all to remove the water pump for instance. Or the cowling. You can refill the radiator with a long funnel ( like used to fill automatic transmissions in cars ) with a piece of heater hose on the end. Put that down between the handlebars and the dash panel right into the radiator fill neck.
