I installed Yann's skid plate on my wee and I live in the foothills. I was coming home this afternoon and was taking the turns at a good clip and on one of the turns the skid plate bottomed out on the road. Luckily no one was coming the other way because it threw me across the line. Has anyone ever experienced this scraping of the plate on turns? Maybe some of the skid plates are narrower in the back than this one.

Do you have a centre stand?
I don't have a Yann's skid plate [just recently fitted a Narcosis Junky one to my Wee]. I once bottomed the centre stand though on a causeway before I ever fitted a bash plate. Being loaded with camping gear and hitting it at 125 kph probably didn't help at the time

Yes, I have a center stand but it was the skid plate that scraped. I could see the scrap marks on the rear corner where it hit.

I scraped my SWmotsch skidplate riding 2 up pretty fast in the N.C. twisties. My bike is lowered . Try to stiffen up the suspension.
