Default Gear around Indianapolis.

Anybody from around Indianapolis know where I can find a store that carries a selection of gear? Looking for jacket, pants, gloves, and boots.

Revzilla.

There are a couple of dealerships that carry some stuff and a store at Madison/Epler that caters more to the cruiser set.

Cycle Outfitters is the store on south Madison Heffy mentioned. Lots of real gear amongst the assless chaps and biker beanies. Open on Sunday, too!

Dreyer on the West side was already mentioned.

There's also the BMW/Triumph/Victory/Polaris dealer on 16th -- Falcone Powersports. Can be spendy, of course...

Westfield Suzuki/Yamaha has a bigger selection of gear than most dealers. I order most of my Suzuki parts through their web site specifically so I can go pick it up, browse the gear, and slobber on the new bikes. They also seem to have a healthier stock of new and used bikes than most.

Flat Out Motorcycles has a store on East Washington and a store in Greenwood. Pretty fair selection, usually.

Indy Moto up near Zionsville is a great little dirtbike shop. No street stuff to speak of, but worth knowing about if you or your kids are into dirtbikes. I've also heard great things in general about Indy Ducati which is right around the corner. They don't carry a lot of gear inventory, though.

This time of year, most dealers keep their gear inventories pretty low, so pickings might be slim until spring.

+1 for Cycle Outfitters. I like this store they have a good selection of jackets and gloves. I've bought several items from them.

The sales guys at Westfield Suzuki are big Vstrom fans. Great guys to talk with. The apparel & parts sales guys there are cool too. They have good prices, and are trying to have the best prices in central Indiana. Willing to help you out alot more than most stores locally too. I think Dreyer may have a little more, but Westfield is the best crew by far!

Hey, if you're traveling that far, the Motorcycle Superstore Outlet Center in Louisville is awesome. You never know what you'll find.
