is the store on south Madison Heffy mentioned. Lots of real gear amongst the assless chaps and biker beanies. Open on Sunday, too!
Dreyer on the West side was already mentioned.
There's also the BMW/Triumph/Victory/Polaris dealer on 16th -- Falcone Powersports
. Can be spendy, of course...
has a bigger selection of gear than most dealers. I order most of my Suzuki parts through their web site specifically so I can go pick it up, browse the gear, and slobber on the new bikes. They also seem to have a healthier stock of new and used bikes than most.
Flat Out Motorcycles
has a store on East Washington and a store in Greenwood. Pretty fair selection, usually.
up near Zionsville is a great little dirtbike shop. No street stuff to speak of, but worth knowing about if you or your kids are into dirtbikes. I've also heard great things in general about Indy Ducati
which is right around the corner. They don't carry a lot of gear inventory, though.
This time of year, most dealers keep their gear inventories pretty low, so pickings might be slim until spring.
