I installed a voltage meter to monitor my battery and noticed that when I plug my electric jacket and gloves, the voltage drops to 14.1 when traveling at about 45 mph. Is that a normal battery drop for usage of my heated clothes? Thanx.

It's typical. As long as the voltage is above 12.6-12.8 volts, your battery is not discharging. That's the purpose of watching the voltage, to make sure you're not drawing too much power with heated gear, extra lighting, etc.

My 2004 Wee runs at 14.1 volts on full charge. It drops intermittently while using the Oxford grips and the Gerbing jacket.
I adjust the controllers to the grips and jacket to keep the charge up. When it's cold and I have the electrics cranked up the voltage will drop to 12 since the alternator only puts out 375 watt. |

14.1VDC is what mine reads almost all the time; even with my heated jacket turned on.
