Finally had to surrender to the insurance company... apparently the Washington State Insurance Commisioner agreed with them that $700 was sufficient compensation for 68 days loss of use because the bike was for "recreational" use rather than my main vehicle sooo....

Santa's on his way here, too. I've got a set of Happy Trails crash bars, bash plate and highway pegs on the way. I will greatly appreciate the highway pegs so I can stretch out my legs as my knees tend to get sore after awhile.
