Santa's coming...

Finally had to surrender to the insurance company... apparently the Washington State Insurance Commisioner agreed with them that $700 was sufficient compensation for 68 days loss of use because the bike was for "recreational" use rather than my main vehicle sooo....

Givi crash guards - $137
EnduroGuardian skid plate with upgraded hardware - $195
Murphkits centerstand - $128
CozyWinters heated vest liner (rechargeable battery) - $120
Richland Rick's fork brace $100

and a partridge in a pear tree... (I mean $20 left to put in the gas tank).

2012 DL1000 Red/Black Just getting started.

I'm guessing you had an unscheduled get-off?

A "Commuter" not an AdvTourer.
Currently Commuting On: 06 Harley XL1200C, DL1000k6, two old mopeds, and a pair of sneakers.

Santa's on his way here, too. I've got a set of Happy Trails crash bars, bash plate and highway pegs on the way. I will greatly appreciate the highway pegs so I can stretch out my legs as my knees tend to get sore after awhile.

Ride on Santa!!

Yeah, first day I rode the bike to work (421 miles on the odometer) and a kid ran a red light in front of me while I was in the middle of a left hand turn.
