I was wondering if anyone knows the diameter and thread pitch of the two small screws/bolts that are behind the mufflers and attach the rear fender.
Also, if you just so happen to have two of these you'd like to let go of, let me know. Thanks, Scott |

I have SS M6 Socketheads in the 10mm, 14mm, 16mm lengths........yours for the asking. I also have some short SS Buttonheads in the M6 size but don't remember what length (right off hand). PM me if you want a couple (free).

I prefer to replace bolts under the mufflers with hex head bolts. They are easier to access with a ratcheting wrench.

I got some from the local body shop left over bin, they have built in washers. Work well.

Isn't this the second or third time we've seen this problem in the last few weeks?
Are these things suddenly unscrewing themselves en masse? Weird. Guess I better go check my Vee...

thanks for the info Greywolf, and thank you Mike for the offer.... I found the right bolt at Menards, in black oxide with the captivated washer. I also found a set of hasps that will work for my ammo can panniers...
