I did a couple mid forty degree sunrise rides up the mountain last weekend. Slpendid colors and just turned up the Gerbing to suit the temps!
Always ride when you get a chance, it may be your last!

Looking forward to getting back on mine, the insurance dragged their feet so hard, it was down for 68 days and of course the shop had to call and tell me it's ready on the eve of my work week so I won't actually get to pick it up until Thursday (73 total days since the accident). The extended forcast says partly sunny and no rain that day... seriously like ONE dry day in the middle of a bunch of wet ones. If the weather holds true to the prediction I'm taking the long way home.

Yea, we got the warm air come though yesterday, went for a little ride last night, it was in the upper 50's and breezy. It's just not as fun in the dark though.

I have only had my "cold" gear out once so far. Local temp was 84 here yesterday. Cold front came thru, only 73 today. BRRRRRR!

38F on the ride to lunch in Wisconsin. I didn't have heat after a stop for fuel. Cycling the ignition switch brought it back. I hope I won't need to troubleshoot this.

After 72 days of down time (insurance company took 51 of those days to accept liability) I picked up my bike from the shop and took her the long way home (133 miles worth). local temps were probably mid to low 50's with a smattering of rain through a couple of spots. I have decided that waterproof boots, rain and heated gear ain't so expensive any more. Only had on semi try to change lanes into me but I rolled on a little DL1000 throttle and vacated the space for him then probably not a mile later had a car pass me in my own lane and they honked at me like I wasn't supposed to be there (on an overpass no less).

In spite of the cold, wet and drivers, it was good to ride again.

I to got out for a little spin to stretch my legs. About 50 at home and 45 up at 4000 feet. enough rain to spatter my screen a few times.

Did about 50 miles tarmac and about 5 miles washed out gravel and a couple little hops and technical bits.

My New gopro hero 3 stopped after 17 min so all the off roadish stuff didnt get recorded. Turns out the micro SD I bought failed, Glad I got 2.

Oh yeah, took the Wee out rather than the Vee. Next time Imm going to get out and push a couple hundred miles on the Vee
