I'm glad I rarely have to deal with rush hour traffic. Though it is nice to be able to catch in the surroundings while going nowhere, versus the confined views of the 12mpg car.

I've still been riding mine to work. As long as there has been no snow or ice on the roads I'm riding!

I hope to get out for a little bit tomorrow. We'll see if I get home from work ata decent time. I have heated grips.....which rock, but I think I'm going to buy a heated liner/under jacket to wear under my armored.

Wife and I just enjoyed a 6-hour tour through some our favorite NM back roads. Great ride and freakishly warm for Dec. We are normally skiing by this time. El Nino hasn't kicked in yet.

I'll ride anytime and any temp. as long as there's no salt on the roads.......That's just about now, I'm probably done. I think. Maybe. A little rain, some sunshine and I might take one more ride..................TD

Well, twice today I walked outside barefoot to remove and look at bolts from the vstrom (don't ask). It's 38 of those American degrees out there, not bad. Tomorrow if it's not raining I get to start it and run it to warm it up for its winter-put-away-until-spring oil and filter change, which I had planned for two weeks ago. This is as close as I'll get to the bike till next spring. Not even serious farkling planned over-winter. Arrgh. Ride on folks, I'll be thinking of you.

Been too hot to ride during the day here - not that I can with my recovering shoulder. At this time of year (Dec-March), I only ride at night when it's cooled down a bit. 37 deg C (99 deg F) and bloody humid last Saturday.
