High tomorrow predicted to be 68, so we are making what may be the last ride to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Total of 250 miles with many, many twisties on the way. Can't wait to try the new Vee to see how they feel.

I was up there early this morning and nearly beshat myself when I came across some frosty white stuff on the road surface. Looked like frost. I walked on it after riding on it and it was not slippery. Never saw it before.

Have fun, get up early and make it an even 300.

I'm Jones'in for a ride tomorrow as well as temps in W. Mass will be in the 50's through Wednesday. Don't have the title for the Wee yet, but I DO have the plate that's on my Beemer.....

Sounds like a good ride and the weather in this area has been really nice the past couple days. It's good to see another Charlotte area person on the board!

Your insurance is ok to swap plates like that? How can you insure a bike you don't own?

Up here as soon as the cops scanned that plate they would know it wasn't a BMW and would inpound it. Not to mention if you had an accident, you would have zero insurance, and zero liability coverage. It could wipe you out. yikes.

I took a quick ride up to the sectin west of Asheville.

It was delightfully desolate.

There were also chunks of ice on the road, fallen from cliff faces in this warm weather, so keep an eye out near vertical rock.
