Interesting, might even fit under the existing seat cover. I tried the gel pad mod under the stock cover, and although it fit, I didn't like the 'squishy' feeling of the gel. This might go under the cover, look good and be comfortable.

If you are going to go to a strap-on solution, I think an Airhawk type of inflatable cushion is a better solution. Carrying on his "butt in the sand" analogy an air-inflatable cushion is infinitely moldable to your shape. And it can be adjusted for firmness by adjusting air pressure. And it's thinner -- this one looks like you would be kind of perched up there a couple of inches more than OEM.

That said, I have a Rick Mayer saddle on mine and am completely satisfied with it. No straps or tippy-toeing.
