I was just looking at this exact compressor to store on my Wee when I came across this one from True Value for $15 with $15 mail-in rebate: Slime 12-Volt Tire Inflator With Gauge (rebate form included on page). A friend of mine totes one around on his ZRX, so I figured it's a no-brainer! Rebate is good for purchases between 11/28/12 and 12/26/12. Rebate not valid in Puerto Rico, RI, or CT.

I have one of these. I took off the plastic and zip-tied (heavy duty ties) what was left to the right side of the sub frame under the side plastic. There is plenty of room under there. I spliced in some quick connects and have a small tube that will reach both front and back. I also spliced in an SAE connector that I connect to my SAE connector for a battery tender. It takes about two minutes to fully inflate a flat tire. That and sticky worms have saved my a$$ more than once.

Just ordered one...........gonna cost me $9.55 when shipping and tax is added........still not bad. If you have a True Value Store nearby (I don't......I would spend $6-$7 in gas and an hour of my time driving to & from), they will ship it free to the store and you can pick it up there.

I printed the rebate form. If this anything like the old one I have, if you open the case, there is little inside and it will shrink into a small bundle that fits well under the seat in a shop rag.

my mazda mx-5 miata did not come with a spare tire. it came with a flat repair kit consisting of a slime compressor, bottle of slime and a black storage pouch. i upgraded it with stickey plugs. i also carry the compressor and sticky string kit under my v strom seat.
