that's what I would do just as a precaution since you live in the northwest. You timed the surgery well so you won't miss prime time. Good luck with the surgery.
I was once laying in a gurney in the hospital hall waiting for minor surgery to reconnect a tendon in my hand when a pair of nurses walked by. One glanced at my toe tag and said to the other 'Frontal lobotomy'. Funny as it sounds... at the time I found it distressing and I vocalized my feelings which they found amusing.
