Put the fuel conditioner in when you fill up. It will be into the system, not just the tank, by the time you get home.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014+ DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012+ DL650s

4. Connect maintenance charger
5. After 6 weeks, disconnect charger, check tires and I'm good to go
that's what I would do just as a precaution since you live in the northwest. You timed the surgery well so you won't miss prime time. Good luck with the surgery.

I was once laying in a gurney in the hospital hall waiting for minor surgery to reconnect a tendon in my hand when a pair of nurses walked by. One glanced at my toe tag and said to the other 'Frontal lobotomy'. Funny as it sounds... at the time I found it distressing and I vocalized my feelings which they found amusing.

14 tooth for me

Thanks for the good wishes, and to Greywolf for the suggestion to add the conditioner at the time I fill up.
