Okay. I read "thicker air" as you suggesting the additional resistance from the air would have a measurable effect.

As for thicker grease.... I don't have the data to support my claim, but I still don't think this would have measurable effect. My thought, Friction would warm the thick grease up.

It might just be in my head, but mine actually seems to run just a tad smoother, when it's real cold, and a slightly different sound, also I can feel a little bit more power. Of course it uses more fuel too.
