Okay. I read "thicker air" as you suggesting the additional resistance from the air would have a measurable effect. As for thicker grease.... I don't have the data to support my claim, but I still don't think this would have measurable effect. My thought, Friction would warm the thick grease up. Quote:

It might just be in my head, but mine actually seems to run just a tad smoother, when it's real cold, and a slightly different sound, also I can feel a little bit more power. Of course it uses more fuel too.
