Fairly new member here and have ridden only in one state so far but it is a motorcycle themed site so only the states you have ridden in seems appropriate to me.

In the case of Hawaii I am counting my ATV time there. Every thing else is a bike.

Well this is a Motorcycle related site, so.....

....the map should be related to which states you have ridden a motorcycle (or ATV) in.

Not just ridden in, but only ridden to unless you move. In that case, only your new home state can be added. If you didn't get to a state you don't live in by riding to it, don't color it in.

Wait, so for instance if I fly to Florida and rent a motorcycle i can't color it in because I flew to get to it?

What about states I rode my previous non-Strom moto to? Those can be colored in because I rode to them?

Everybody gets to do it any way they want. This is an opinion poll, not a rule tool. Until I rode my Wee in every state I had ridden other bikes before, I displayed two maps.
