I am ready to install my aux fuse box, question I have is 12ga stranded wire ok to run to the battery about 10" run and the same for the ground to power the box.

In a single wire, not a bundle, that is cooled by the air, #12 wire is rated to carry 41 amps.
American Wire Gauge table and AWG Electrical Current Load Limits with skin depth frequencies and wire strength It is all about the heat. In a house where the wire is wrapped in a 6" fiberglass overcoat and isn't the best insulation in the first place, #12 is limited to 20 amps. For future reference look for ampacity tables.
