Depends on how you ride. Honestly, no oil filter protection is the right choice for MOST of us!

Skid plates are usually a pita to have in place when doing maintenance and while they do offer protection to the oil filter........there are very few cases of damage to the filter without them for those that are really never in true off road conditions.

My Wee had the SW motech center stand and it was the BEST! The Vee I replaced it with has the OEM stand and it requires way more work.
