My son and I took our V Stroms on a trip to the southwest. Before moving on to Arizona and the high country in New Mexico we took a few rides in the Big Bend area of Texas. Here are two of the rides: one up the Chisos Mountains, the other Pinto Canyon.

now the hill country is a whole nother ball of yarn. it's a blast and beautiful, too. thanks for sharing. great stuff.

I agree on the Davis loop. We stayed in Alpine and rode in the mountains behind Fort Davis our first afternoon in the area. I had wanted to see how the area recovered from the fires a year and a half earlier.

We stayed at the Lost Alaskan just north of town on the road to Fort Davis (118 ?)
Nice place and great people. Without question we'd stay there again . |
