I agree that you'll get more money for the accessories off the bike, but if you're like me, you'll end up with a garage of mismatched motorcycle gear and nowhere to store any more. I have $500 hard sidebags, two or three Corbin seats, handlebars, mufflers, footpegs, windshields/lowers, and the list goes on. All for bikes I've owned in the past. Too lazy to get around to selling them.
Ummm....you've got to be lazy indeed to decline to post a list of things here and on other appropriate owner's forums. It's free. And takes a minute or two.
It ain't about the income. For me those obsolete farkles piling up are a kind of reproach to my normally frugal farm-boy upbringing. They sit there making me feel guilty about excessive indulgence, and my conscience is cleared when they are gone.
